About

"Hood in the Wood" is a poetic retelling of the classic Red Riding Hood folktale. Little Hood aches to explore the mysterious woods around her, and when she gets a message from her sick Gran, she leaps at the opportunity. Along the way the Narrator/Ensemble of the Forest make themselves known through the flowers, trees, and shadows of the Wood. Little Hood strays from the path and finds Wolf chained, howling to be free. The two embark on their journey to Gran’s house becoming strange friends along the way.
